Be it remembered on this the 13th day of March 2001, there came to and was held a Special Meeting at 9:00 a.m. of the Commissioners= Court in and for Randall County, Texas with the following present and presiding:

 

Theodore Wood,          Presiding County Judge

Robert Karrh                Commissioner Precinct 1          (not present)

Gene Parker,                Commissioner Precinct 2         

George Huskey,           Commissioner Precinct 3

Also present at the meeting was Joella McPherson, County Auditor and Sue Wicker

1.         PUBLIC HEARING CONCERNING REQUEST TO CHANGE THE NAME OF DOWELL ROAD TO HOBGOOD ROAD. COMMISSIONERS COURT WILL DISCUSS AND TAKE ACTION.

 

Motion was made by Commissioner Parker.  I move that after hearing the wishes of these individuals here and also those of the people petitioned that we leave the name of Dowell Road as is.

SECOND was made by Commissioner Huskey.

AYES: Three.                                                                                                                                        Exhibit 1

NAYS: None.

Motion carried by 3-0 vote.

Judge Wood adjourned the Randall County Commissioners Court until 3:30 pm. Tuesday, March 20th, 2001 in the Randall County Square North Courtroom.

At the meeting on March 20, 2001, Commissioner Gualtiere   moved to approve the minutes for the meeting held on the 13th of March 2001 as distributed.  Commissioner Parker  seconded the motion.   Five (5)  Voted aye.  The said minutes were approved as distributed and  No  correction was made in open Court.
