6.         Discussion of the manner in which other counties contract with cities within those counties          for the provision of fire protection.  Discuss the applicability of the foregoing in Randall County.  Take any necessary action.  (TW)

 

7.         Discuss and act on request to transfer $100 from Commissioners Court-Contingency to             Justice of the Peace No. 4-Court Reporter Expense.  (Auditor)

 

8.         Discuss and act on request to transfer $2,500 from 181st District Court-Capital Cases to          181st District Court-Reimbursed Travel.  (Auditor)

 

9.         Discuss and act on request to transfer $1,750 from Capital Expenditures-District Clerk to          District Clerk-Repairs and Maintenance.  (Auditor)

 

10.       Discuss and act on request to award radio antenna tower bid #2001-62-6.  (Auditor)

 

11.       Discuss and act on request to award office furniture and furnishings bid #2001-62-7.     (Auditor)

 

12.       Discuss and act on request to transfer $200 from 47th District Court-Dues and Meetings,          181st District Court-Dues and Meetings, and 251st District Court-Dues and Meetings to      District Clerk-Dues and Meetings.  (Auditor)

 

13.       Discuss and act on request to transfer $500 from 181st District Court-Capital Cases to 181st    District Court-Medical Reporter.  (Auditor)

Motion was made by Commissioner Gualtiere.  Motion to approve the minutes of the May 22, 2001 Commissioners Court meeting.

SECOND was made by Commissioner Parker.

2.         DISCUSS AND ACT ON PROPOSAL TO ENTER INTO AGREEMENT WITH THE WEST TEXAS A & M UNIVERSITY CENTER FOR GOVERNMENT ADMINISTRATIVE STUDIES (WTAMU) WHEREIN WTAMU         WILL CONDUCT A CONTRACTED RESEARCH PROJECT FOR RANDALL COUNTY CONCERNING RANDALL COUNTY RURAL FIRE PROTECTION SERVICES.  (TW)

Motion was made by Commissioner Gualtiere.  Motion on office furniture and furnishings, bid #2001-62-7, that we award the bid on line items 1 – 40 to the low bidder.
