2.         Discuss problems relating to the construction of the Youth Center Halfway House.  A             closed             meeting will be held with attorney Kirk Crutcher pursuant to Tex. Gov. Code Ann.             Section 551.071 permitting a governmental body to conduct a private consultation with its             attorney to seek advice about contemplated litigation.  Take any necessary action.  (TW)                   

 

3.         Discuss and act on request to approve resolution setting the fee to be paid in Randall County for service for civil process and other related fees for services by the offices of the sheriff             and constables.  (Sheriff)

 

4.         Revisit the issue of exempt employees and non-exempt employees.  Take any necessary             action.  (TW)

 

5.         Discuss and act on request to approve Private Switch Provider Agreement with Potter/                          Randall Counties Emergency Communications District.  (Auditor)

 

6.         Discuss and act on request to approve transfer of $5,000 from Sheriff’s Office – Salaries to             Sheriff’s Office – Contracted Services.  (Auditor)  

 

7.         Discuss issues of concern related to construction of the new jail.  Take any necessary                    action.  (TW)   

 

8.         Review of correspondence with the commissioners court.  (TW)

 

9.         Accept official reports.  (TW)

 

10.       Discuss and act on Randall County employees' requests to attend meetings and conferences.              (Auditor)

Motion was made by Judge Wood.  Motion that we approve the fees as set forth in this document that Sheriff Richardson has given us.

Motion was made by Judge Wood.  Motion that we approve this agreement between Potter/Randall County Communications District and Randall County.

Motion was made by Commissioner Gualtiere.  Motion to approve the $5,000 transferred out of the Sheriff’s Office – Other Salaries to Contracted Services.

Judge Wood adjourned the Randall County Commissioners Court until 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 10th  2001 in the Randall County Square North Courtroom.

At the meeting on July 10, 2001, Commissioner Karrh   moved to approve the minutes for the meeting held on the 3rd of July 2001 as distributed.  Commissioner Huskey  seconded the motion.   Five (5)  Voted aye.  The said minutes were approved as distributed and  No  correction was made in open Court.
