3.            Presentation by Grant Smith of Panhandle Insurance Agency regarding insurance for             the Randall County Noxious Weed District.  Take any necessary action in regard to             insurance for the Noxious Weed District.  (Auditor)

 

4.            Discussion regarding the methods of enforcing deed restrictions, including the ability of             counties to take enforcement actions.  Take any desired action.  (BK)   

 

5.         Discuss and act on request to seek Attorney General’s opinion in regard to state longevity             payments for assistant criminal district attorneys.  (CG)

 

6.         Discuss and act on request to transfer $550 from Commissioners Court-Contingency to             DPS-Weights and Measure.  (Auditor)

 

7.         Discuss and act on request to transfer $700 from Commissioners Court-Contingency to             County Judge-Court Reporter Expense.  (Auditor)

 

8.         Discuss and act on request to transfer $5,500 from County Court at Law – Other Salaries to         County Court at Law – Court Reporter Expense.  (Auditor)

 

9.         Discuss and act on request to transfer $532 from County Court at Law-Office Supplies to         County Court at Law-Capital Expenditures.  (Auditor) 

 

10.       Discuss and act on request to transfer $2,000 from Sheriff Office-Other Salaries to Sheriff Office-Prisoner Supplies.  (Auditor)

 

 

11.       Discuss and award bid 2001-33-1 for metal shelving for County Clerk Records             Management.  (Auditor)

 

12.       Discuss and approve contract with Court Vision Communications, Inc. for video             arraignment /visitation system for the new jail.  (Auditor)

Motion was made by Commissioner Parker.  So moved that we approve the minutes of the September 11, 2001 Commissioners Court meeting as presented.

SECOND was made by Commissioner Huskey.

AYES: Four.

NAYS: None.  Karrh not present.

Motion was made by Commissioner Gualtiere.  Motion to transfer $550 from Commissioner Court-Contingency to DPS-Weights and Measurer.

Motion was made by Commissioner Gualtiere.  Motion to transfer out of County Court at Law-Other Salaries $5,500 to County Court at Law-Court Reporter Expense.

At the meeting on September 25, 2001, Commissioner Gualtiere  moved to approve the minutes for the meeting held on the 18th of September 2001 as distributed.  Commissioner Karrh seconded the motion.   Five (5)  Voted aye.  The said minutes were approved as distributed and  No  correction was made in open Court.
