            Texas Engineering Extension Service (TEES) wherein Randall County will receive certain           equipment valued at $44,324 as part of a Domestic Preparedness Equipment Grant.  (TW) 

           

3.         Discuss and act on request to approve amendment to the Randall County Road and       Subdivision Policy permitting culverts (as opposed to concrete, dip-type entryways)

            to be used on lots less than 165 feet in width where a common culvert is used for two lots so     that culverts are at least 165 feet apart.  (Road Department)

 

4.         Discuss and act on a request to approve specifications for Bid No. 2001-71-6 for aggregate.    (Road and Bridge)

 

5.         Discuss and act on a request to approve specifications for Bid No. 2001-71-7 for asphalt.        (Road and Bridge)

 

6.         Discuss and act on request to transfer $1,000 from County Court at Law--Other Salaries to      County Court at law--Court Reporter Expense.  (Auditor)

 

7.         Discussion of issues related to the Neal Cearley lawsuit.  This discussion will involve a    private consultation with the commissioners court’s legal counsel pursuant to Tex. Gov.         Code Ann. Section 551.071 permitting a governmental body to conduct a private         consultation with its attorney when the governmental body seeks the advice of its attorney             about pending litigation.  (The discussion with legal counsel will take place via telephone.)           Take any necessary action.  (TW)

 

8.         Review of correspondence with the commissioners court.  (TW)

 

9          Accept official reports.  (TW)

 

10.       Discuss and act on Randall County employees' requests to attend meetings and conferences.      (Auditor)

At the meeting on December 18, 2001, Commissioner  Parker  moved to approve the minutes for the meeting held on the 4th of December 2001 as distributed.  Commissioner Karrh  seconded the motion.   Five (5)  Voted aye.  The said minutes were approved as distributed and  No  correction was made in open Court.
