4-H Youth Development

4-H Clothing & Textiles?

The Texas 4-H and Youth Clothing program affords youth the opportunity to develop skills that help them become productive, responsible adults, through the following:

  • Participation in clothing project groups
  • Individual study of special topics
  • Membership on a state 4-H Clothing and Textiles Advisory Board
  • Competition in state and national clothing and textiles contest

The overall goal of the Texas 4-H and Youth Clothing Program is to help youth understand career opportunities and acquire skills and self confidence through the study of clothing and textiles and related activities.
