The curriculum was developed by two Wisconsin County Extension Agents assigned to community development. The workshop consists
of defining the four generations: Traditionalists (also called Matures in some literature), Baby Boomers, Gen Xers, an Millenials (also called Generation Y) and the times that shaped their values.

Participants will identify their own generation and the differences that exist between their generation and the others. Core values of each generation will also be defined.

Emphasis is placed on respecting differences and how value
differences affect behavior in the workplace.

Goals:
Increased knowledge and understanding of the four generations
Enhance comprehension of how generational differences affect you
Promote skills for effective intergenerational communication
Expand capacity to manage diverse working styles across the generations
