CRIMINAL

  1. Class C Misdemeanor cases,
  2. Truancy cases,
  3. Issuing warrants for arrest,
  4. Magistrate warnings,
  5. Emergency protective orders.

CIVIL

  1. Justice Court, where the amount in controversy does not exceed $10,000.00
  2. Small Claims Court cases, where the amount in controversy does not exceed $10,000.00,
  3. Eviction suits.

OTHER

  1. Marriage ceremonies,
  2. Act as the county coroner,
  3. Driver's license suspension hearings,
  4. Juvenile warnings.
