Minor Alcohol Beverage Fine Schedule

Your appearance is required in court. If you are under 18 years of age, your parent or legal guardian must appear.

If you fail to respond to this charge, an additional charge of violation to appear will be filed against you and warrants for your arrest will be issued.

First Offense of:

· Minor in Possession,

· Minor Consuming,

· Attempt to Purchase,

· Purchase of Alcoholic Beverage by Minor,

· Misrepresentation of Age by Minor,

Ø Fine Amount is $200.00.

Ø 8 hours of community service.

Ø 90 days to attend an alcohol awareness course.

Ø Driver’s license shall be suspended for 30 days.

Second Offense:

Ø Fine Amount is $500.00.

Ø 20 hours of community service.

Ø 90 days to attend an alcohol awareness course.

Ø Driver’s license shall be suspended for 60 days.

First Offense of:

· Minor Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol (any detectable amount).

Ø Fine Amount is $300.00.

Ø 30 hours of community service.

Ø 90 days to attend an alcohol awareness course.

Ø Driver’s license shall be suspended for 30 days.

Second Offense:

Ø Fine Amount is $500.00.

Ø 40 hours of community service.

Ø 90 days to attend an alcohol awareness course.

Ø Driver’s license shall be suspended for 60 days.
