Captain Roger Short started his career in law enforcement in January 1975. He accepted employment with the Randall County Sheriff’s Office in 1976 and has supervised the Criminal Division since 1989. Captain Short holds a Masters degree from West Texas A&M University and a Master’s Peace Officer Certificate from the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Standards and Education.
