The Service Division is the nerve center of the Sheriffs Office. Service Division is responsible for the maintenance of all records and the service of active warrants. Additionally, Service provides communications for the department around the clock and coordinates the victim services program.

The Communications department handles all the dispatching duties at the Sheriffs Office. Communications is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with at least two dispatchers on duty at all times. All Randall County dispatchers are highly trained in handling emergency 911 calls as well as all other non- emergency and administrative calls. They also handle all radio traffic for the Sheriffs Office and the Canyon Police Department.
