Service Division

The Service Division is the nerve center of the Sheriff’s Office. Service Division is responsible for the maintenance of all records and the service of active warrants. Additionally, Service provides communications for the department around the clock and coordinates the victim services program.

The Communications department handles all the dispatching duties at the Sheriff’s Office. Communications is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with at least two dispatchers on duty at all times. All Randall County dispatchers are highly trained in handling emergency 911 calls as well as all other non- emergency and administrative calls. They also handle all radio traffic for the Sheriff’s Office and the Canyon Police Department.
 
State-of-the-art communications center at the new Randall County Sheriff’s Office and Jail. There are four identical dispatch stations here and a fifth in the basement in case of bad weather or other emergencies.
